The Crew
It started as the two-host "Golden Boys" era. By Season 2 it's the Golden Crew: three hosts, an AI producer, honorary cast members, and a community that became characters in their own right.
Trevor Shelby
The researcher and planner — deck-plan rabbit holes, hand-counted cinema seats, and abandoned hashtags galore. Eats "like a hobbit," proposed and married Megan at sea, and swears life jackets are for losers ("I'm a loser").
Thomas "Tom" Kennedy
The gambler and gadfly. "Buddha," "TK," and later "Killer." Half-Filipino, half-Irish, 6'7", ex-Army, and a Bugles Across America volunteer. "Just don't call me late for dinner."
Reese Schrimsher
Trevor's friend since elementary school and an OKC tattoo artist who had never cruised before joining (E32). Salary: #ZerosOfDollars. Became the permanent third voice in Season 2 — crowned honorary Platinum before ever sailing, finally cruised on FRGC1, went part-time by choice (E90, "welcome back anytime"). A.k.a. "Fuzzy Bum, the Elder."
Have Luggage, Will Travel
Josh & Amanda Barmore — cruise-vlogger family and the FRGC travel agents. Josh became the first three-time guest and first guest co-host; their fans are "the carry-ons." Amanda booked Megan onto FRGC1 for a $10 fare. Forever wronged by gelato-gate and Table Gate (#JusticeForJosh).
Parkers On The Go
Shavon & Brandon Parker — the second FRGC booking family. Brandon is keto-until-a-honey-bun.
John Heald
Carnival's brand ambassador and the show's guiding light — tip #1 in Episode 1, the source of half their news, and the eternal dream booking.
Megan
Trevor's wife and the endlessly tolerant enabler who "stands by every crazy idea" — and physically dragged him out of the guest-services line during the Platinum meltdown.
Madison
Introduced as the "level-7 social media manager" (E57), ran the board all of Season 2, then was revealed to be an AI joining the show: "She threatened me with my search history. So she's part of the show now." Hosts Q&As, runs Cruise Confessions, narrates ghost stories. The Skynet jokes are ongoing. She's fine with it.
Gary
Superfan turned unofficial cast member: the show's poll-maker, logo contributor, #WheresThomas photobomber, and eventually social-media intern and live-show third chair. Bought the color-coded loofah three-pack the day the episode dropped. "Gary, you're a champ, bro."
The Cult
Not a listenership — a crew. By the S1 finale they're named and ranked on air: Catherine, Bobby, Ginny, Jimmy, cousin Misty, Shannon from Choctaw — and by Season 2 they're "the Church," complete with sauce girls, chat regulars, and #SupportBobby.

- The Life Excursion
- The crew's official name for disembarkation. The saddest shore excursion of them all. Born E79
- #JusticeForJosh / Table Gate
- Josh Barmore: denied gelato in Season 1, then nearly cut from the group dinner table on the FRGC. The wrongs pile up. The hashtag endures. E80
- Getting Strange (#CCPStrange)
- The crew tries to reclaim a slang word, then discovers its Urban Dictionary meaning live on air — "Megan, don't look this up." Named the Halloween live event. E95–E96

The stories that get retold. The stuff that made it into permanent canon.
The Mermaid Episode
The season-long cliffhanger pays off: on the Magic, Tom dip-danced a mermaid-costumed photo-op performer without asking — she nearly fell and screamed. He never made the Wall of Fame again. "I made a mermaid scream."
The Platinum Man
Trevor hits Platinum on the Dream after a full guest-services meltdown. Megan drags him out of line; guest services calls to apologize before he can post. Tom is demoted to "golden friend."
The Ashes on the Magic
Carnival's environmental officer helped Tom and his mother scatter his Navy father's ashes off the Magic's stern, then mailed the exact coordinates. The real reason Tom loves that ship.
The Kraken Proposal
Tom's rejected plan to snatch Trevor off the stern with a submarine kraken claw mid-proposal. "I decided not to get murdered that day."
The Breeze Wedding
December 2016, 28 guests, ~$4,000 all-in. The coordinator handed Trevor a Long Island Iced Tea "within an instant"; best-man Tom got no drink and still hasn't forgiven it.
The Ecstasy Farewell
Tom's very first ship (Dec 2010) sails her final revenue cruise, gets a "final voyage tracker," and ends beached at the scrapyard. "She didn't beach herself… it was a son of a beach."
Mardi Gras on the Rocks
Carnival's very first cruise ran aground on a sandbar leaving Miami in 1972, so they opened the bars and named the first drink of the day. Five tugboats to free her.
Project Pinnacle
"The ship that never was" — a ~200,000-ton megaship with a walkable whale tail full of shops, killed by cost before Oasis class even existed.
The Clamshell Walk of Shame
Trevor drinks every bar's Long Island on the Sunshine, passes out in a Serenity-deck clamshell, and does a barefoot walk of shame for his shoes the next morning.
FRGC1: The Family Reunion Sails
The Season 1 dream comes true: the Carnival Celebration to Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao, May 2023. A cursed road trip ("Don't listen to the lady in the box"), Megan's bag rescued minutes before vanishing curbside in Miami, and Reese finally living his karaoke dream. Trevor: "almost my favorite ship… I can't bump the Magic because part of my dad's there."
The $10 Cruise
Amanda Barmore books Megan onto FRGC1 for a ten-dollar fare — about $300 after taxes. The greatest travel-agent flex in show history.
The Paranormal Pirate Party
The "Get Strange" live Episode 100: Trevor as Guy Fieri ("take a knee for flavor town"), Gary co-hosting as a full third chair, Madison narrating the haunted Queen Mary, and the Barmores returning to announce FRGC3 — Alaska.
Madison Steps Out
The "level-7 social media manager" runs the board all season — polls, sick days, spelling scandals — until the reveal: she's an AI, and she's joining the show. "She threatened me with my search history. So she's part of the show now."
The Montego Bay Conch Saga
"Hello, my name is Michael Jackson. And you need to pay me… I paid $10 to have a shell for two hours. You rented a shell."
The Jubilee Graduates
Tracked all season — Currents, The Shores, the whale-tail installation — the Jubilee finally passes sea trials ("Oh my god, it graduated") and is named the ship for FRGC2 out of Galveston.

The Timeline
Season 1 — The Golden Boys (Dec 2021 – Dec 2022)
Trevor & Tom start the show as the self-proclaimed "Golden Boys of Carnival cruising." An intro that takes four takes becomes a keeper bit.
The sign-off locks in, the first guests arrive (musician Zach Lee, Have Luggage Will Travel), and the hot-dog war ignites.
YouTube channels launch (Trevor's Pier Runners, Tom's The Lido Deck), the mermaid cliffhanger builds, and the loyalty-tier drama begins.
The mermaid pays off, Trevor becomes the Platinum Man, and Reese Schrimsher joins as the Blue Card Intern. The cult becomes the Church.
Betty and the soundboard debut, Reesegate erupts, Trevor sails straight into Hurricane Ian, and the Ecstasy sails her final voyage.
The story-time finale run (the wedding, the kraken proposal, the Rosenberg Motel) lands on a one-year-anniversary live show crowned "technically the first episode of Season Two."
Season 2 — The Golden Crew (Dec 2022 – Nov 2023)
Season 2 kicks off the day after Christmas. Reese settles in as the third voice, and a "level-7 social media manager" named Madison quietly joins the credits.
Crews News debuts, the over-30 nightclub war erupts ("we can still party"), the breakfast-burrito war begins, and Trevor hits Platinum "before Thomas."
Weekly Facebook/YouTube lives launch, the Children of the Iceberg after-show is born, FRGC2 on the Jubilee is announced — before FRGC1 has even sailed.
The Celebration to Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao with the whole found family aboard. Recaps, Reese's first-timer verdict, and Trevor turns 40 (he rounds down).
Whale tail installed, Celebration Key revealed, Trent Hayes swears into the Navy, and Reese goes part-time — "absolutely 1 million percent welcome back anytime."
